I am having a very hard time adjusting my clutch in my 98 talon tsi awd. I installed a new master cylinder due to the old one leaking. The other day I had it adjusted good and to where it would engage at a good point, but it would get pump up due to not enough free play. I was on my way home when it was good and I went to push in my clutch pedal and it was very soft. I can't find any leaks in the stock line. When i try to adjust it now, no matter how far i have the adjustment rod extended, it will still engage right off the floor. What would cause this and what could I do to fix this? I have searched countless hours and spent hours adjusting and I can't figure it out. Any advice is GREATLY apreciated.
Is it a new clutch or just a new master cylinder? Is the car hard to drive now because it engages right off the floor?
. I ordered a new master and slave and ss line which should come on wednesday.
