Unhooked battery, took all the bolts/nuts/connections off alternator, Problem is the back bolt(took nut off) will not come out, its the long piece that the alternator pivots on, Am i suppose to be able to just push it out or what? Ive been bashing on it for a good while now and it will not come out

well after hours of frustration and an inability to really access that bolt very well to give it a good clean hit to try to push it out , I am going to put the tire back on and put the car back on the ground for the night, Think im going to resort to taking the oil filter off in the morning as it seems the only way to get a clear shot at that Piece of shit

I just recently replaced my alternator, and ended up removing the oil filter mount to do so. Dunno if this is necessary but I was doing a BS removal as well so had to take that off anyway.
