Well I just bought a my first DSM a couple months ago and after only 3 months of work its running.. these cars can be a PITA!! but still fun to drive when working. I am in the middle of installing a APEXI AVCR boost controller and cant get any signal for RPM I have tapped it at ECU pin number 58 I beleave the all white one. Then after that I tried under the hood just after the fuel rail the 4th wire also all white and still no signal. Please if anyone has any suggestion let me know

-What year is the car? if it's a 1g, there's a RPM signal connector directly behind the throttle body on the firewall, beside the one you ground to by pass the ECU for timing adjustment.

ECM pin 58 should be the correct one (2nd pin in on bottom left of connector B-55). This is the one that goes to the tach. You do know that this is on the return to ground side right? So your +12 goes to your guage and the minus of the gauge goes to pin 58.
