Well i got some michellin pilot tires around 280 treadwear, tokico shocks in front and sportlines, thing is i can't get 2.5 or less 60 ft, what can i do to better this??

practice, i pulled a 2.3 60' but i was spinning like a mofo, i had a slow reaction time too i reved @ 2500-2800 so i wouldnt get as much wheel spin but it didnt help much when the light turned green :|

I can average around 2.2-2.3 I drop the front tires to 18lbs. Rev to around 3k and feather the clutch. The only thing i can say is practice! :thumb:

Not to discourage you, but the more power you make, the tougher it will get to cut a good 60 on street tires. My best is 2.4 (20psi in the tires) and thats feathering the gas and my 1.8th mile is suffering because of it. I'm only getting to 60% max throttle in all of 1st and 2nd gear. I have stock 16" tires w/Kuhmo MX's 225/50's, GC's with koni adjustable shocks as well as prothane's do help eliminate wheel hop. I think my best ever was a 2.2 60, but that was when I was making considerably less power. Like he said above, I also am launching the car around 3k rpms.
