I have a few options for this build I am doing. Keep in mind that I am using meth injection and an FP 4" intake pipe.

1 option- keep the 2g mas and have just a regular cone filter on there (will that support enough hp?

2 option- go sd but then I need to tune for it (heard it is a pain) and then I run into meth and iat sensor problem.

3 option- gm maf and translator (same problem with the meth and iat)

Basically, if I do a holset h1c with the fp intake and my stock 2g maf, will a cone filter let enough air through? that is my main concern.

The 2g mas and cone filter will work fine for your setup if that's the route you choose
SD isn't hard to tune, its just a matter of setting up your VE table, possibly may free up a few ponies also.
I'd definitely go with the SD versus the GM maf and translator combo though

there also is the evo/3g mas i believe it is. you just run the meth before the sensor, not really a issue.

Maybe this page will help you a bit
Where to locate your alcohol-water injection nozzle

With a wideband and logger, tuning either a MAF or SD system isn't difficult at all.
Don't be intimidated by the VE tables.
I was very happy running SD when I had my DSM. The tune stayed very consistent when driving in temps ranging from 0*-100*
