cant boost past 8 psi

Hey guys, I put on my new ported 16g and for some reason I can not boost it over 8 psi, I did a blt with no leaks, checked out my wastegate and everything ous good, I'm kind of stumped. Any input would be great. Thanks guys.

i would check your mbc if you have one and if you dont id check your wastegate again. its one or the other.

It's just a ball and spring mbc, should I replace the spring?

It's ether your MBC or WG. One of them is not holding the pressure. Take the MBC out and just leave a vacuum hose, see what happens. How do you have your MBC hooked up?

It runs off my wastegate comes into the mbc then goes out to the nipple off my jpipe I put in, the side with the pin hole on the mbc is on the wastegate side.

do what he said take the mbc out and see if you get atleast stock boost if you do it was the mbc if you dont its the wastegate.
