ok so my 98 GSX runs and everything but theres just a few things that bother me, when i cold start it the engine sounds like ...... runrunrunrunrunrunrun instead of the ruuuuuuuuun (if that made any sense) and after like 5 min when it heats up it sounds fine and during the process of it warming up the lights bog like if i turn my lights on i can see that they dim high and low to the same rhythm of the engine when its warming up. after the car is warmed up everything is fine until i get to about 3k RPM, i have to slowly accelerate and i feel like im driving like and old lady and it takes me like 2 min to get up to 55mph ### if i accelerate hard the lights inside flicker until i shift to a higher gear and then if i gun it, it feels like im hitting a brick wall or something. i think its the fuel pump or my boost may be too high, before going into the dealer it was at 15psi no problem, and i feel like they might have turned it up to screw me over so i can take the car back into the dealer, but any thoughts on what i can do to get rid of these two problems? walbro 255 fuel pump? lower boost? thanks for reading, any help is appreciated.

Lower to as low as your MBC lets you until you've gotten all the leaks taken care of. It'll be shitty and slow but your car will thank you.

As to the former question, do a search. It's a basic procedure that every turbo owner should be able to do with a blindfold on.

Lights dimming is a voltage problem. Your alternator may be dead or dying. Lack of voltage can cause the car to have acceleration problems if it cannot produce enough voltage provide adequate spark. This problem can be amplified by fouled or worn out plugs. Not being able to burn all your fuel will make the car boggy. It may also be that your battery is going bad or you have a bad primary cable. Check for corrosion on your battery cables and around your posts. If you see a greenish-white flaky buildup around your cables you may have so much corrosion that they need to be replaced. Do you have a boost gauge? It is usually hard for the car to build boost if it is bogging.

Good luck.
