I have a '95 Talon TSI AWD. Walbro 255 pump with AEM fuel rail and FPR. Injector Clinic 1200cc injectors. Tuned on E85.
My problem I am having is that I cannot lower my fuel pressure by adjusting the FPR. At start up my regulator reads about 50 psi. Let it run a few minutes to warm up and it might drop to around 48 psi and then will vary about 2 psi in either direction. Adjusting the regulator in either direction does not change the fuel pressure as it should. With it running at idle and disconnecting the vacuum line the fuel pressure doesn't change. I disconnected the return line at the top of the fuel tank and at the FPR and blew air through it.
Wondering if the restriction is due to the size of the stock return line or if I need to pull the fuel pump assembly out and see if there is a restriction somewhere in the return section of it.
