I have been in the middle of a 6 bolt swap for the past 2 weeks, and the 6 bolt I got is "allegedly" a Canadian model 4g63? Is their anyway to tell if any of this is true?

I tried the search feature as always, but I could not find a thing on it. I also tried google.

The only thing I found was that the Canadian 6 bolt produced 240 hp, only because of the cams?

Any info would be great, thanks for the space guys

Canadian engine is exactly the same as the US engine. Whoever told you the cams were different is full of it.

the ONLY difference between canadian DSMs is the 1g's (maybe 2g's) had daytime running lights. maybe the speedo's had the km/h on the outside and mph on the inside of the speedo gauge.

thats IT. nothing else.

There is no mechanical differance between USA national and Canadian models. oh and btw, we beat you in the War of 1812 :p

canadian 1gs had normal seat belts unlike the auto seat belts that the us had..

I dont see any mechanical differences on mine, the only thing is the daytime running lights, manuel seatbelts, gauge cluster(km).
