Can you put a GSX Tranny in a GST

This probably was mentioned before but when i searched all i found was the differences between a GSt and GSX. But thats not the Point the point is i want to do a Tranny Swap and plan on doing a AWd conversion. So i figured i would start first with the Tranny and go from there. Sorry again if this was mentioned many times before.

By the time you find all the component and swap them in, you've wasted more money than just selling your car and buying an awd...The only time its worth it is if you're doing the swap on a spyder...

another thing you cant put the tranny in until you have all the componets. is having a spyder more important than having an AWD because it's easier, to just sell yours and buy an AWD, as stated above. also the other option is possible but you have to a very good mechanic. try search because i read similar post a few days ago.

It was front wheel drive...now it's all wheel drive. If you have any spacific questions I'd be more than happy to ask him for you. To answer your question very directly...YES! It can be done.

I Called Meinke and they told me that it would cost me 750 for just installation, but i know the manager and he wasnt in so maybe he can give me a discount like always

No, it's Jason and his Eclipse is kind of a cameleon purple faded to a darker color. It used to be his show car but now he's about to install an FP3065 and who knows what else. He also has a 2005 STi with about 480 to the wheels and decked out with carbon fiber and everything else that would make any man...ummmm...you know. He's a Subaru mechanic but specializes in both Subaru and DSM's.
