can you intall gsx exhaust on gst?

i've recently been looking for exhaust systems for my GST but everything i find says "fits on 89-94 GSX" will that exhaust fit on mine? i mean i'm gonna have to get an elbow for the t3/t4 manifold but other than that will it fit? thanks for the help

It will not bolt on due to the bends between the two exhaust systems. Towards the rear of the car the GS-T has a 45 degree bend while the GSX is nearly straight through.

Only exhaust system that I found and later purchased is the Thermal R&D system and i bought it from the great guys at MAP. It is $569.99 Thermal 3" Catback Exhaust DSM - Modern Automotive Performance

Unfortunately, 1G FWDs don't have a great selection of catback exhausts to choose from. The Thermal is a really nice sounding system, a bit pricey tho, but on these forums everyone who has it seems to love it. I believe there is also a Buschur catback that can be ordered for 1G FWD, and sells for a bit less. Haven't heard really anything about that one, though.

When i had my 90gst years ago, I took it to a reputable exhaust shop by me and had them build 3" I supplied the muffler and they built the rest for $100. They did great bends and I was really happy with it!
You said your running t3/t4, Is it a 4bolt or 5bolt discharge?
If so, you can buy an O2 housing to match up with the downpipe. If not, you may be able to modify an FP Vband O2 housing.
You can find fwd downpipes from many of the vendors.

i have the 5 bolt discharge. and your method is ###### the one i'm gonna go with! it's the cheapest and easiest...thanks for the advice

The key is to get the right shop that will take pride in what they are creating
If you have a welder, you can do it yourself, too
