Can you drive w/ no o2 sensor?

I’m about to install my new Turbonetics t3/t4 & DNP exhaust mani. With the turbonetics T3/T4’s, you have to weld the exhaust outlet flange to the downpipe. I was going to have an exhaust shop do that for me.

My question is, can I throw on the turbo and drive it a few miles down to the shop?
The o2 housing obviously does not bolt up to the new turbo, so it wont be connected. Is there a way I can trick the o2 sensor into thinking everything is OK until I get my downpipe made?

you can run the car with no o2 sensor, however it will be in open loop mode which will be really rich. but if you are just going a few miles to the shop you will not have a problem.

The car will drive their fine, It might smell a little bit though. I drove mine with no 02 sensor because i messed up the threads, all it does is run on a default a/f setting which is pretty rich, I would take it easy on the way there though.
