Can I use hi-impeedence injectors on my 4G64T

I turboed my 4G64 1997 Spyder and I need larger injectors so will hi-impeedence after market injectors (450-550cc) work or is it a must to use low-impeedence injectors with a resistor pack wired in. I am not sure if I am using the stock ECU with an AFC of a 99GSX ECU if that makes a difference.
 
450cc injectors will require a resistor pack and u would have to use the safc and lean it out quite a bit.make sure u have a datalogger and keep an eye on ur fuel trim.you might want to check this site for more info:http://4g64.150m.com/
 
Read the question please I know if you use low impeedence injectors you need a resistor pack and the size 450-550cc has no relavance to this. What I would like to know is can hi-inpeedence injectors be used so i dont need to wire in a resistor pack?

450cc injectors are low inpeedence injectors(2-3 ohms) and will require a resister pack but not to sure about 550cc injectors but i belive they come in both..if u read that link i gave u it says that the 4g64 motor uses hi-inpeedence injectors(13-16 ohms)..so yes u can use hi-impeedence injectors..just not the 450cc injectors(unless u use a resistor pack).
 
I know the car came with hi impedence injectors but will hi impedence work with a 99GSX ecu or with an AFC II the hi impedence injectors pulse different than low impedence ones I beleve. I also belive you can get hi or low impedence 450cc or 550cc.
 
If you find high impedance injectors in the size your looking for you can run them without a resistor pack on either ECU. The injector circuit in the ECU has different parts in the snubber to deal with the different injector types between NT and Turbo but both are saturated driver circuits.

well,have you found some yet? high impendance ones? im using the stock 2g nt ecu for now (4g63 nt eurospec..a nightmare) i tuyrboed it and i want more boost and i need more fuel!
the ionjectors turned out to be 240cc hi imp injectors
 
Yes I found some Hi impedence 550cc injectors. I am using my nt ECU with Greddy E-manage it is not yet running though.
