Can I swap to a Garett turbine housing?

Yes good point the first resonator does neck down to 2.5 in the mid pipe. I always liked the sound of it so I didn't get it changed to something else. Mabe this winter I should have the mid pipe duplicated into a straight pipe. I guess I'm really not all about efficiency.

Oh, yours actually necks down externally, I was referring to actually taking the pipe & looking at it internally. The Apexi system was full 3" pipe & the resonator expanded to 4" but when I looked internally, the core was 3" but then had a second solid pipe welded in that necked down to 2" or maybe slightly less (couldn't measure it). If you find your does do something like this internally (post it up if your does), you can still replace it with another resonator thats a true 3" internally that won't restrict airflow but still help with reducing sound output. I run 2 3" Vibrant resonators in the stock locations, Magnaflow also makes a couple different varities.
