can i run 450-550 on my stock 1g fuel pump? im going to be getting the gm maf sensor and my goals are about 300-350hp on 93 pump gas. i was think in getting a walbro 190 just to be save, but if really dont need to i might use the money somewhere else. thanks

I think he's talking about injector size.

Sure, you could run any size injector on any pump. It's how much fuel you will need to be delivering at WOT and high RPMs which is the deciding factor. Stock pump is can't support much more than stock HP. If you want 300-350, you will need an upgraded as posted above.

Go with a 255 lph pump. that way no matter what size injector and boost setting your running you will definitely have an adequate supply of fuel. if you dont get enough fuel and the engine runs lean you will blow the engine. you can get a 255 lph pump off ebay for $50-$100 depending on the brand.

you would need an adjustable pressure regulator but that should be one of the major components you should get if you want to properly tune your engine when you start to modify things. even a bone stock gst or gsx would benefit from an adjustable FPR.

You could, but you'll run out of fuel pump. As the guys said, run a 255 or at least an Evo 8 to make sure nothing will go wrong. I've heard of people running the stock fuel pump successfully with 550s before, but I wouldn't recommend it.
