So after a long battle with the nj dmv I can finally drive my car again. It's my first convertible so I'm a noob. 2 days ago the front roller guide on my back window broke, luckily my window didn't break when it fell, I've got it all mounted and secure, but if I put the window down there's a very good chance it'll fall of track again. Would it be possible to disconnect the motor from the Window and still use the button to drop the top? Is putting the top down with windows up risky? My top seems to be lined up fine as well as the windows. Also any link to a diy/make your own guide roller would be great.
Thanks
