1G can I bypass a data logger with this?

I want to increase my boost and I am going to get a mbc and a boost gauge. I have daily access to a brand new snap on solus pro scan tool and I was wondering if I could use this instead of buying a logger? I'm not sure which one would show more info.

Are you seriously asking this? You want to hold on to a Solus in your lap and try to tune off it? Either stop skimping on the necessities or step away from the vehicle and find a shop.

Shop tools are way different. Sample rate is no biggie to find out on why your car is throwing a p0171 code haha. Get a logger. Main emphasis on brands is sample rate.

O btw I have a OTC genesis that will blow a snap on out of the water and it blew up a motor. Tuning software is not the same as diagnosis software.

I was just wondering because I noticed I could look at all my sensors and a ton of other things in real time with the scan tool. I know this is a stupid question but what does a logger log? and just so you know this scan tool can tune cars 1996 and above but only gm, my high school instructor showed me how to and I tuned my friends 2004 Chevy truck with it. My instructor also has a OTC genesis but its his personal one.
