I was wondering if i could run 650cc injectors, walbro 255, and an aeromotive afpr without running something to tune with. i wanna eventually add dsm link and a 50 trim, but im trying to do little by little. if it comes down to it, ill wait and get the dsm link with the fuel stuff though... if need be.

you would beable to turn thoes 650s into 550s by turning the pressure down. i dont think you would beable to do much with it tho and might suffer bogging and such because the ecu cant adjust for larger injectors without a piggy back

You're going to need either a piggyback fuel controller, because even if you turn down the base pressure on the injectors, the computer will control those 650's like they were still 450's because it doesn't know any better. You're going to have a hell of a time getting it to run, much less run properly.

So, when I first got into the DSM scene I had an SAFC, VPC, B16g, 550cc injectors, and a couple of other things. To make a long story short. My friend's little brother got into the car and tried to do his own SAFC programming while we were playing Halo. He's thirteen. I knew nothing about tuning and didn't want to F* things up so I just reset the SAFC to not lean anything out anywhere. OMG. Talk about bad gas mileage. I was getting about 4-5 miles a gallon. On 550's no less. Imagine 650s! OMG I figured I was running a bit on the rich side and couldn't get to the shop just then, so I leaned everything out about 25% across the board. That helped a little. I was up to 10-12 miles to the gallon. So, with the experience I've had. Go head and make your decesion.
