Can anyone identify this motor or what it cam from

Mitsubishi 4G63T4G63T-Yellow

The person i talked to on the phone barley knew english i am trying to figure out if this will drop into my talon, i would have to quess with it having 270 hp that it would be an evo engine?

Looks like a JDM Galant motor because of the Cyclone intake manifold and red Mitsubishi valve cover.

Well it has 1g motor mounts and all that so you're gonna have to do some swapping of parts to get in to drop right in your 2g Talon.



You'll have to do some minor wiring with the CAS too it looks like.


That engine is kind of too expensive IMO.

cause they really want to sell it. yellow top injectors i believe are 550's and it should have big16g for the turbo.

2k seems high i can get Cyclone motors for 800. but i not sure if the for everything or not.

Yellows are actually 510cc's.

Ya the intake looks like it is for the galant... Yellow tops are evo 3 510cc injectors.. That engine is no different than any 7 bolt out there.. 2 grand for a used engine... ouch..

edit: could be before the 7 bolt switch so it can be a 6 bolt which in no different than any 6 bolt turbo block out there.... My bad..

These motors also came in Mitsubishi vans. Thats were my motor came from and it had a cyclone mani.

if its a 6bolt with 510 s and evo3 turbo i believe the motor came from a galant vr4 rs. but could be wrong

2000 sounds pretty expensive to me... theres a jdmengine warehouse in the tristate that you can actually inspect the motors before purchasing them... something off the internet is a hit or miss... but those hp ratings are def off and so is the price... the warehouse i went to had the same engine going for 1200 with all the bolt on parts and warranty.... and if their website is all in english and they can hardly speak it... i'd sense a red flag right away

I would only buy it if it had blue injectors!

Definitely looks like a Galant motor. I had no clue that the evo III turbo was in the Galant VR-4. Thats pretty awesome.

2000 does sound like a lot, and 270 hps definitely sounds wrong for an engine that is used and been sitting there in a warehouse. MOST jdm 4g63 engines are under 1500. Aznspice27 brings up a good point about the website being in broken english. I suggest going elsewhere and not paying more than 1500 for it.

i bought the same motor , it came with evo 3 turbo with 510cc and it has 250hp not 270hp

2000 is way to much, put a little more to it and you can get a race motor.
