I found this on ebay:

Can ayone tell me anything about this turbo? I can't find any info on it when I search. It appears to have what looks like a 16g wheel in it and a provision for an external wastegate. Do you think it would be something to grab to maybe combine with a 14b and make a hybrid turbo? Anything at all you could tell me about it would be great. Thanks

Well heres some flow numbers i found on a star-quest site for some different mitsubishi turbos

12A is stock-320CFM
14G is next-465 CFM
16G flows 505 CFM
17C flows 550 CFM
Super16 flows 550CM
19C flows 550+cfm
18G flows 600 CFM
All of these CFM's are at 15ps.

That turbo comes on some startions but mainly comes on the cordia. as far as i can tell it isnt a very good choice for a turbo for us, because from what ive seen most people want to upgrade from the TCO5-12a to a 14b. i couldnt find tons of information on it because it doesnt appear to be a turbo that people want to upgrade to.

Hope some of that info helps :laser: i personally would suggest getting a good ole 16g, its been proven time and time again to be a great upgrade from a stock turbo when its time for upgrading.

Hey thanks for the help. Thats the kind of info I was looking for. :thumb: So I assume that the hot side housing is smaller also? Just thought that maybe this would make it easy to upgrade to an external wategate.

No problem, also the hot side shoud be smaller but i dont have any numbers for the turbine. i would just assume so. also it wouldnt make it any easyer to upgrate to an external because that turbo is internally gated, so just as much work. and you whouldnt need an external gate yet anyways. an internal gate on the turbos should do just fine for now :laser:
