Heres my problem my car is trowing a code P0125- Excessive time to enter closed loop.
Now here is what my car does, it wont idle right at all, sometimes when I press the gas pedal the car wont respond till a few seconds later, and when IM just cruising sometimes the car will jerk a little.
I fixed other problems that it had such as map sensor, coolant temp sensor and boost leaks, But I cant figure out that problem with p0125 code.

Could someone please help me????? Thanks peeps

Your car is taking to long to fully warm up. Until your car reaches a set temp. it will stay in Cloosed Loop mode.

Maybe your thermostat is sticking? Have you tried replacing your thermostat?

No i haven't replaced the thermostat i mean the car warms up just fine and it doesn't over heat or anything like that but i guess i might aswell try it

Have you tried the search feature available on this site? Just type in "P0125". I did, and found quite a few threads right away.

Skimmed over a few and it looks like a few people corrected the problem by replacing the front O2 sensor. Of course the description for that error doesn't really seem like it's hinting at that. Do you have a logger or know someone that does? You could watch your O2 voltage and see if it cycles like it should, and even watch your coolant temp to see if that looks odd.

But go through the search, maybe you'll find something useful. ;)

Well if your using the stock temp gauge, then you really don't know exactly what temp you are running at. You either need a datalogger or an aftermarket temp gauge.
