1G Can a bad O2 sensor cause fuel cut?

well here is my situation, my car has pretty much been sitting for 6 years, my dad gave it to me, and I've been trying to get it to run since august, and it started for the first time today with a new ECU. we ran it around for awhile, but between 4g and 4,500 rpm it hits fuel cut. I have a new O2 sensor to put in, and the injectors need new O-rings. should those two things solve my problem?

yes injector o-rings leaking pretty bad can cause the maf to run out of hz real quick on a 1g. believe it or not but i think you o2 sensor is the only reason that it runs nice until then. also your spark plugs could be shot after sitting in that motor that just didn't run and still had dirty oil in it. vapors constantly in the air. theres alot of crucial sensors that can fall victim to corrosion in that amount of time of disuse.

If by Injector O-rings you mean the rings that seal the injectors to the intake manifold then yes.

Do a boost leak test and that should help you out.
