can a 16g turbo be swapped with the blown t-25

i believe it is where my intercooler pipe meets the turbo outlet pipe its different from the j pipes i've seen and instead of going down towards the i/c piping it goes straight across (galant j pipe) so i am willing to bet where the i/c pipes meet its leaking because i have the i/c pipe rigged on it and i need to make addition to the /c pipe to make it fit perfectly so wish me luck all and thanks for the reply i really appreciate it.... any items i will need this is the stock i/c piping from the 2g (s pipe) I am going to make an extention to the i/c pipe just to let you all know any body know what i will need to make this work.???

well i made the pipe earlier and it appears to have worked i didn't hit fuel cut on the test drive but my blow off sounds kinda quiet compared to when my t-25 would blow off so i am not sure on that one and it still is missing at idle. by the way i checked that o2 sensor again and it just fell out so i am thinking its my miss at idle issue but i don't have an o2 sensor socket to put it back in anyone have any suggestions... i'm so hitting my friend who helped me with this LOL

can i install that o2 sensor without the use of the o2 socket? i am asking this because it doesn't look like i can get a wrench in there i need an alternative way to tighten that o2 sensor

Either use an O2 sensor socket or try to fit a wrench back in there to get to it. Or you will have to take the O2 housing back off to do it.

i need to know if that sensor can cause this problem it idles and misses and sometimes when i'm coming to a stop with it the idle will drop to almost 100 but still stay running and jump back up. its also using gas very badly i mean i used amost a 1/4 tank of gas in less than 5 miles anybody got any insight???? also it doesn't wanna accelerate very good but it eventually gets going it gotta be pumping way too much fuel

somebody please tell me whats going wrong with my car i mean i am getting frustrated here my car seems to idle fine when i first start it up and it runs for a few mins then i go driving but down the street to the stop sign the car will begin to miss and throughout all this the car seems to not have very much power like my t-25 did. i can barely hear my blowoff valve also when i tried to launch it from a stop light it doesn't jump off kinda like it falls on its face then its gets going. there is also little to no pull when accelerating

someone please give me some ideas please
any help will be greatly appreciated

The O2 sensor will greatly affect gas mileage. It will not affect WOT, but at lower throttle settings it will cause it to run rich. Have you actually done a boost leak test by pressurizing the intake? Just looking for them and checking clamps is not good enough.

I wouldn't be concerned with the change in spool or bov noise. On my T-25 with the hard-piping and 1g bov, it sounded really nice, but now with the 14B it's really quiet in comparison.

I'm not too sure about the idle problem though, the first thing I would've checked would've been the ic pipes to check for any intake leaks, but it seems you've already done so.

FIXED!!!!

Turns out that my licp had a 3 inch crack in the pipe while i was doing the boost leak test it was blowing hard onto my hand so i fabed up one and it works beautifully and this turbo is by far the best turbo to be on my car for now LOL i wanted to thank everybody for all the input and advice i couldn't have done it without u all

thanks again fellow dsmers
