Started car up she sounds like a v8 cammed. Its stock, I'm thinking boost leak. Any other ideas. Sun went down so I figured I will ask so I can start my day off tomorrow with a few ideas, and possible checks. The Mass Air Flow Sensor was fine when I unplugged it, plugged it back in. Installed upper inter-cooler piping today, so I was thinking maybe a lose coupler, or one that is not seated on the pipe correctly. From my understanding the car wont run if the Mass Air Flow is shot. I could be wrong. I had an extra lying around plugged it in, same thing so I was going to rule that one out. Anyways, long story short runs like garbage, need some guidance or advice. Thanks

Did you try and drive it any? When my IC pipe blew off it sounded kinda like a cammed v8, and drove horribly. That was when I was a noob and thought I broke something.

I have not driven it. Cut it off a few seconds after didn't want to damage anything else. The blow off Valve is open circulated but had no issues before the new upper inter-cooler pipe install. I am waiting on a recirculated blow off valve to come in the mail. I ordered it, but bought the car like this. Only time being open circulated that affected my idle and performance was a little bit of hesitation steady building boost and flooring it (did that once, never again.) and after you let off the gas with heavy acceleration, the car will drop idle down and regain normal conditions while driving a second after. Been kind of babying car lately I have a few minor issues i need to address like my heat not working, and a timing belt up and coming soon like to be ahead of things so nothing goes wrong in the long run. If you have any more ideas or info that pertains to why you stated the recirc idea please let me know. I am always interested to learn, and want to understand the cars better. No advice is ever bad advice in my eyes. Thanks Again.

Check your MAF plug. Try unplugging it while it's running to see if that makes a difference at all.

Checked everything. Apparently the lower pipe came lose and caused a massive boost leak. I checked everything else out that was mentioned and everything checked out alright. Drove it down the road, everythings fine again. Always good to check stuff for future though. Thanks again guys.

Can anyone direct me to a thread on how to tuck my fuse box? Ugly ass thing is hogging up bay space and I want it in the glovebox and out of the way.
