I took my car to get inspected the other day and it came up with two codes.
P0505..... IAC valve system fault
P0170.....Fuel Trim Bank 1.

I have a 1997 eclipse gst spyder. The car is fully stock and the only thing I did to the car is change the pcv valve with a new one from napa. The car also idles high. Do you think it could be the pcv valve causing this?

Check to make sure you didn't crack your valve cover while putting in your PCV. Also make sure that the hose going to it isn't jacked up. Popped one of those codes about a week ago and it's because my PCV had fallen out somehow.......don't ask.
