Cam question

As of now im running Comp 200's (272's) and plan to stick with them until im ready to do my 6 bolt swap. Once that is in i was wondering how well a 272/280 set up would work or would it just fall on its face and im sure idle will be a mess. Iv looked around and havnt really heard of anyone using this setup and maybe thats a hint but ill ask anyways. I am going to be running a Borg Warner 362 with Kiggly mad-bees and hopefully buy then a JMF drag mani. Looking to rev to 8-8.5K or maybe even 9K if turbo has that potental (which im positive it does). I might end up just doing the 280/280 combo and be done with it but didnt really want to kill my spool time another 300-500 RPMs if i didnt have to so thats why i mentioned the 272/280's. Or would the full 280's setup be the better route? Any thought on this or help will be appreciated.

My opinion would be based on what cam brand you are going to buy. Some suck and some don't.

Good choice. I havn't had both in my hands to say they are exactly the same. I have the Comps in my car now and the difference between them and brian crower 280's is night and day. I also had 2 sets of bc280's here and they were not ground on the same lobe center. I would just go the full 280's or have a set ground for you set up.

Well i know they arnt completely the same just FP has the cuts slightly different. My Comp 272's pull like crazy but i know up in that range they are going to run out. I may just go FP4's.
