Calendar In Progress... UPDATED!!!!!

Yeah, I could only imagine this would not be easy. I only said what about my car, because I think I have just as good of a chance as anyone else. If I don't get picked, it's all good, I'll still want to buy a calendar anyway!

I know. But honestly I want everything done and gotten all together because when I goto the production company about the calendar I want to have everything for them and get a couple myself first to make sure there in good condition and get any problems cleared up before I start taking orders.

I think this should be a tuners thing, but tis just my opinion of course

I think that "turbotalon92" and "Shep" should be taken off of the calender list for 1G's.

For 2G's I think that "iLLiclipse" , "Jayvee" , "lowriding2G", "DSMnightmare", should be off, "Defiant" and "98tsiawd" should ALL be removed from the 2G list.
NO negative feedback as to why is needed IMO.

That is 8 removed from your list of 26 which leaves you will 18 people.
I think that "97GS-Tspyder" should be replaced with "Mlopez" and "Eclipse4x4" should be replaced with "KrazyKorean" .

This will make a nice calender, teh right amount of people no fuss'

PS- you should remove Merlin's car for JDMAWD if you can get in contact with him... maybe even consider putting in some more 1G's and removing 2G's to even it up a bit too

97gs-tspyder is supplying me new pictures within the next couple days and if they don't make the cut I will notify the next person in line.

I'm not going to be able to get jdm in on it I don't think because the calendar I'm doing will now be referred to as the "tuners calendar" if that's ok with Chris. (CHRIS???). Also turbotalon92 isn't on the final listing.


Illiclipse, jayvee, and lowridin2g all didn't make it actually dsmnightmare will remain because hes a clean 2g talon. Your 1g recommendiations are defiantely appreciated and I'm considering not using shep because not to be snotty towards him but he gets alot of media coverage already....

You should look at the black 2g's that are posted because there is honestly about 4-6 of them and I need those singled out.

For 2g's I've got some colors covered.
BLACK (quit giving me choices of these)
White (if tev is out or dosen't get great pics I'll beg mlopez for some)
Green (dsmnightmare has it unless lowridin2g kills me with pics)
Red (still waiting on a RED HOT 2g)
Blue (I think its l2r on this one but I'm unsure)

I say take 20 or so nominations for both 2g's and 1g's.. then put up a vote on the main site with the picture that will be used for the calendar and have a vote for the best.. most votes = winners = simply done.

I say no matter what though we keep shep in there. Someone said take him out, but not only does he have a beautiful car.. he is also a really big part of dsm history.

Instead of telling me people to add.... I need to hear some opinions on who to actually T.A.K.E O.F.F. Because there can only be 18 pictures total.

What I think is ate up is that noone seems to read this part of the post. Everyone sees that 26 other people are getting recognized for thier hard work so they want in on the deal. Did anyone stop to think that maybe he has already looked at the members galleries and knows who's out there? Also you can't just jump in at the last second because you hear about this and expect everyone to wait for you to take pictures of your car. He has made his choice and now is asking for help on how to narrow down his choices NOT add more choices to the list. The worst thing I have seen is people who shamelessly plug themselves. C'mon people help the guy out. I mean if this works out without being a total pain in the ass don't you think that there might be another calandar next year?

99GSBBturbo hasn't responded to my emails, pm's or anything else that I've tried to do. I tried to pm him but I'm not going to just throw a user on there without their approval.

I think that for a blue car, instead of l2r you should contact 98TSiAWD because he's making a car, and it is extreamly nice, he will be almost done with it april 9th(gets tranny) Maybe hell have it done intime for you to look at his car for an opption too.

I wasn't aware that 98TSIAWD was even close to getting his car finished up. Hes definately got one hot 2g talon that hes throwing together.
I noticed the car but I didn't think he was anywhere near finishing that car anytime soon.

I think that you are doing a cool thing by getting one of every color in there (or trying to). There are plenty of each color for 1G/2G cars that I am sure you can get ahold of the good once if you just wait it out. Best of luck to ya manG

I feel yah about the shep thing and it's weighing high on my mind but who in the hell else would I slap on the cover honestly. It gets a cover plus a month and I don't know who else to give it to... I wouldn't want to give it to any certain member because god knows that would cause some termoil on the forum (even if people say it wont)

As far as me doing a cool thing... I've always thought it would be something that we need to do so finally the monkey on my back convinced me to take on this task and now sits in the corner laughing his ass off as I pull out my hair over this collage. I know for a fact I won't get every color that a dsm has to offer on there and I just want to warn everyone whos color dosen't get posted that dosen't mean we don't love you guys. I'm honestly hoping this turns out well and people appreciate it but at the same time I wish people would honestly sit down and try to find 18 pics that are very hot that are calendar worthy then try narrowing it down to a smaller amount of people. It's alot harder than it looks.

As far as a new list...that will be posted once I get the new pics I'm waiting on from the member's I've talked to. That way when I post the list people will be able to say yay or nay about it and leave it at that.

I disagree with the DEnomination of 97GS-Tspyder as suggested above. He's got some very nice custom interior-work. Perhaps a better shot from above with the top down that shows off the Talon nose and interior styling, but it's all just very well done.

Need any orange Eclipses with "character" (by character, I mean daily driven and roughed up)?
