Well I feel like an idiot, really. but I have never done this before. I have a 1991 laser RS non turbo it's the 2 liter straight 4. I am making my own intake, not gonna connect the hose to the valve cover though I'm just going to put a breather filter over it. which means I'll basically just have pipes and an air filter.

Only problem is, I dont even know if my car has a MAF or MAP sensor. Staying at the girlfriends parents house until tomorrow so I can't go look. But if I do have a MAF Sensor, does anyone have a video or tutorial of what to do with it since I'm only going to have pipes and a filter, no welding experience whatsoever btw. Thanks.

If its stock then you'll have a MAF.
MAP sensors were used on OBD2 systems to measure manifold pressure.
I could be wrong but I do not believe they used MAPs on OBD1 vehicles(at least not DSMs).
