Cable auto tranny for 2g

So im asking for a friend. Does the 2g use a cable speedo? Even if it doesnt would it be possible to use a 6bolt auto cable speedo tranny with a 7 bolt?

2g auto and 5 speed both use electronic vehicle speed sensors. Idk of it could be converted i just know factory there is no cable

Anything on OBD-II should use a VSS as a rule of thumb.

I think a better question would be, are the transmission/engine mounts in the same place? Ive never looked under 1g hood long enough to realize.

The answer to that would be, no.. There are many threads on topics pretty similar to this. 1g cars have 3 mount points on the engine block itself and one on the trans.. 2g cars have 3 mounts on the transmission.. You can swap a 2g trans into a 1g just not a 1g trans in a 2g. Well, you COULD, with enough money and fab skills
