I have a 6 bolt motor in a 2g with a rebuilt bottom end and BSE kit. The engine, when revved over 3k rpm, will have a buzzing sound come from the firewall side of the engine. I have no idea what it could be. It gets faster the higher the revs. I do not know what to think of it.

Any ideas? Thanks.

still waiting to do the boost leak, i dont have the things to perform one. Any one else have some idea's for the time being? thanks

Could be your idle air control valve. As it has an electric motor . Its atached to and underneath the throttle body. If you put your hand on it you can feel it working when you turn the key to the on position.
