Spyder Buzzing sound, crank no start when turning key.

Hello everyone this is my new to me 99 Spyder GS-T. The car ran a few months ago as far as I know, but any time you turn the key from off to on there is a buzzing sound behind the dash that sounds like a relay of sorts.

It will crank and start for maybe a second sometimes, if at all. It then dies immediately. What could be causing this?

I'm going to take apart my ECU and examine for any damage. I've also pulled the MPI relays and the buzzing sound then stops when turning the key. Has anyone experienced a sound like this before in their 2g?

I figured it could also be fuel pump related but the buzzing behind the dash concerns me that it's something else.

I forgot to add, the car does run on starting fluid. It seems there is something impeding the fuel pump from turning on.

Pulling the MPI Relays does two things, it cuts off power to the ECU and cuts off the fuel pump.

Usually the MPI buzzing is cause by low voltage going to the Relay but It's also possible that the ECU can't pull it's control signal low enough to fully activate the relay.

So if the buzzing is coming from in the dash rather than from the location below the center console where the MPI relays live we have to look farther.
