Buying New Radiator

Hey,

Well I figured out the source of my coolant leak, and it was a hole in my radiator. I am planning on buying a new one, but I want to make sure I get the right one for my car. I priced them at advanced auto parts, which is close to my house, and they said a radiator would run me $170. My car is a 95 Eagle Talon ESI with a manual transmission.

Would this radiator fit my car:
1995-1998 Eagle Talon Radiator Replacement, OE replacement

I'm 99% sure it's what I want, but I just want a second set of eyes to look it over so that I don't get a radiator that won't work for my car.

When I selected the car I had for my profile it didnt give me the option for esi so I just selected tsi. Ill do my best to get that changed, but I do have the esi

you can always check the dimensions of the radiator with the one on your car or match them with another vendor just to be sure

Be careful not to get one that has the plastic top or end tanks as they always crack eventually and also when the front of the car hits near anything. 1800radiator has excellent proven all metal ones and they deliver it to your door within hours.

I would suggest not buying parts from that site. I've heard of many problems with them.

Also, what brand is that radiator? Replacement?? Never heard of them. I wouldn't skimp on a radiator. You get what you pay for. How much is OEM? I shopped around for a radiator before and decided it wasn't worth skimping on it and went with OEM from a dealer. I would get the Denso, which is OEM for our cars.

Well I've never heard of any problems with them - in fact just the opposite: http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/newbie-forum/270480-broken-neck-radiator.html#post151285527 ($154 so he got what he paid for). In fact this site's guru Defiant is the one who recommends them. I also got one from them with no problems. But there's always 1 unsatisfied person with any site of course and you never know what car/model he had. Or if their quality has changed since then. But whereever you get it from try to stay away from plastic - they crack with slight car impact or excessive heat.
