Ok well heres the problem.. like 2 weeks ago i busted my 3/4 fork. i have the tranny out of the car. my only problem is i cant seem to get the tranny apart.. I searched alot. and i read the write up on VFAQ for a 2g tranny rebuild but those directions seem alittle too extensive for a shift fork. How can i get the tranny apart without it being in a million peices.. If theres anyone that can provide me with some info to get the tranny apart i appreciate it. Thanks

Unfortunately you need to tear your whole transmission apart. You need need to take the gear clusters out of the case, slide the new shift fork onto the selector ring, then slide the shift forks back on the shift rails all assembled as a unit. Its sort of a balancing act but not too bad after you do it a few times.
