I have this kit on my 1g. When I first installed it I had no problems. I remember that it would hold pressure after the car was shut down. It has been on the car for approx 7 months and has been driven 1000 miles. In the past week may car started turning over several times before it would run. When it starts in runs bad for a few seconds. The car started running rich and would hesitate when driving easy. I checked my fuel pressure and that was fine. I noticed that it was no longer holding pressure when I shut the car down.
I put my stock fpr on the car and it runs fine now. Should this buschur sx fpr hold pressure
as well as my stock. I was told that its seems to be leaking. Is this true.

Yes it's leaking. Try reinstalling it with new teflon tape on all threads and see what happens. If it's still acting up I'd contact buschir about a possible faulty part.

It is not leaking out of any of the threads. I called essex and they said it should hold 20+psi for 15-20 mins. It leaks by internally when the car is shut off. Since is is leaking
internally it is impossible to tune. Does this seem possible.

Yep the diaphram is leaking most likely. Have you asked Buscher about it? It may be a problem they've had before.

they told me it was suppose to leak, but it did not leak when it was new and now it does. I took it apart and found that the bypass hole where the diaphram seals was not a perfect circle. It was egg shaped for some reason. I reshaped the hole and now it works again.
