I have a Question about the Bushchur Fuel Preasure Regulator. I currently have it installed on my car and I was wondering, do I need to have the vaccum line that goes to the regulator hooked up at all times? The reason I ask is the metal fitting where the Vac hose hooks in as popped off some where down the road and I cant locate it. Also know any place where I can locate another fitting I have a pic it is circled in red.

You sure do. The regulator uses that signal to adjust the pressure. It should be a standard hardware store fitting, hit up Ace or True Value or something.

Yeah you will need that. That takes your vacuum reading and ups your fuel pressure 1psi per 1 psi of boost you run. So right now i wouldn't get into any boost if you are driving your car. You will go lean if you do.

Also you said it poped off ? Sounds like it striped out, so you will need to get a tap and make some new threads for the new oversized vacuum barb fitting.

Have fun with it.

I didnt really get a chance to look at the threads on the Regulator. I noticed the problem when the factory boost guage wasnt moving at all when at idle (moves some most of the time) but, I went to advance auto they didnt have anything in a fitting like that. True Value hasnt been here in 3 years, and we dont have a Ace hardware. Any online stores that carry stuff like this? I will try napa might have better luck.

Dude I don't think you want to drive like this. Under boost you could be running DANGEROUSLY lean. So unless you can keep the turbo from spooling...get a buddy to drive you to Lowe's, Home Depot, Menards, your local we-sell-stuff-people-need-like-nuts-and-bolts store.

I had to drive myself from school, though I didnt let the car build any boost it is parked now till I can find the part
