Ok Ive got my 14b apart and read to put the bullseye housing onto it. It has a snapring that looks like its supposed to hold it together instead of the vband style clamp that was on the 14b. Anyone put a turbo together similar to this? Im thinking I will need a set of snapring pliers. Is that snapring really going to hold the turbo together without leaks?

The compressor housing is held onto the CHRA by a large snap ring, and yes, you will need snap ring pliers, unless you ahve some small needle nose pliers, which will also work. The band clamp is used to hold the turbine housing to the CHRA. That has the nut/bolt combo that holds it on. Hope that helps.
