I have a 98 GST mods are:
1990 6 bolt motor bored .020, BS removed, Fully balanced, clevite bearings
Wiesco 9:1 pistons,
Eagle H beam rods,
ARP Head, Main, Rod bolts
Mitsu Multilayer Head gasket
big 16g ported exhaust housing w/14b compressor and wheel (tragic turbo death!!)
ported 2g mani, o2 housing, 3" turbo back exhaust w/ Apexi N1 muffler
FMIC w/2.5" hard piping & HKS SSQ BOV
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Earls High flow 6-an filter w/ 6-an SS fuel lines
denso 720cc injectors
AFC-2
Greddy Profec-B
Digital tuning datalogger
Autometer A/F, Boost, EGT, oil pressure gauge
BM Tranny LSD insert
Spec Stage 3 four puck clutch
As you can see I basically have a full on race motor minus a few parts.. up until recently thats what I wanted to to do it, But now I have discovered the world of autocross. Problem is the Yo nasty turbo for big par had a ton of lag which is bad for autocross. and the 14b is quick spool so it is good fir autocross but too slow for par..
I figure best way I can go at this is to spray the piss out of it and make it quick with the 14b..
given my mods how big of a shot do you think I could run?? I am leaning near 100 safely prolly more, but I fell the compressor will be overrun..
