Ive had my 1993 tsi for quite awhile now and am now looking to build my spare motor. The goal is 450-500hp and my questions are, is a 255 pump, e85, and fic 1150cc injectors gonna be enough to support my goal? I plan on running an afpr as well. Next is my build list, ill list my plans and let me know if I am missing anything. Also how well will the trans, cv axles, and transfer case hold up to that kinda power?

Already have the following
Eagle H beam rods with Wiseco 1400hd pistons 8.5:1 CR and .20 over, need to bore spare block
BC272 cams
FIC 1150cc Injectors
HX35, need bep housing still
3" maf with translator
dsmlink
BFMIC with hard pipping
255 pump
ACT2600 Clutch
Stock head
Full 3" exhaust

Need to order
MLS headgasket
ARP head studs
AFPR
Cam gears?

Any issues with my current parts I have on hand, and what else should I be looking to order?
 
Titanium valve springs and retainers plus a ported head to help with flow. Speed density. Also to control boost an external wastegate either 38mm or 44mm. I believe a mitsu bep housing may be a bit restrictive for ur power goals. A t3 may work better. Don't forget to rewire your fuel pump. Other than that it is a solid setup.
 
Not to be the downer here.... but nothing matters unless you can tune like a pro and have extensive experience with software.

I have X,y, z upgrades to the tits,
A stock terd can make more power because I'm mentally handicapped with tuning....

So, again big dollar quality parts are just paper weight. Unless of course..... Tuning
 
Should have mentioned i have a buddy to do the tuning and the head came off his car making 580whp. I also already have a wastegate and rewired fuel pump.
 
As far as i know trans and transfer case are stock. Has an act2600 clutch, its by the far the heaviest clutch ive ever operated and ive owned a lot of cars, 300+.
