and in my case I didnt even latch it I just layed it down and forgot to push it in completely/at all. 100% driver error on my behalf, ohwell.

The hood was my fault. I didn't latch it down all the way.


Here's what I managed to get done today. Drove 1.5hours to summit for one damn fitting, but it's worth it.
Now to put on the compressor cover and change the VC gasket.

This builds really coming along nicely. I like that oil return bung for the holset, I was debating on gettin one made similar or just buying an extra oil pan and gettin the -12 welded on myself.

I went this way so I could go back to my 16g if I ever wanted. And fitting a tig torch between the bung and lip on the oil pan would be a major pain.
