buddy thinks this noise is the rear diff any input?

If you listen it sounds like the tires are spinnings. For the longest time I just thought it was my 18g but since the Holset its still there. My one buddy said something about the lsd unit in the rear end any ideas?

How about the hum being made when you are spooling up? I would get it up off the ground and see what it does in gear.

yeah i think thats the noise im talkin about does it in everygear only does in under hard load

didnt start making noise till it started moving it seams like.

I would pull the rear brakes apart and check that the e brakes aren't stuck first. then i would check the diff and then work your way up. if the drive shaft bushings are shot it could be putting a directional stress on the rear diff

Sounds like a howling boost-leak to me.

doesnt start making the noise until like 18+ psi my mbc makes a similair noise when i boost leak test it so i may switch boost controllers and see if that makes it go away
