Bubbles Between Exhaust Mani and Turbo

Ok.. So, I've been wondering what the hell has been going on with the white smoke pouring out of my exhaust.. there is no residue of oil in the antifreeze or vice versa. There are no bubbles in the antifreeze while it runs.. Maybe it looks a little bluer than pure white.. I've heard some oils burn white, some bluish white..

I've read most post, including the huge compilation of the White exhaust smoke threads. I really think at this point it's a blown seal or 2 on my T28.. What I guess I am asking for is this though..

In picture 1, you see a little white goo in the middle there? those are actually tiny freakin' bubbles... indicating a blown gasket, I would assume... But what fluid would cause these bubbles? has to be fluid.. it looks to white to be oil, but thats about the only thing I can think of.. if the turbo is throwing oil through the seals, would that cause it to go upward towards the manifold?

I've never seen anything like it.. oh, and you can't see the smoke, but there is smoke pouring out from under the exhaust manifold.

I am aware I need to check the spindle for movement, but the jerk clamp holding the intake to the intake on the turbo is too rusted and too tight and needs to be cut off... not doing that in 97 degree weather right now.

So.. all the white smoke from exhaust and bubbles indicate...? I am going with blown seal on turbo.. but the fluid... it's just odd...

Are you losing any coolant? oil? Have you done a compression test on the cylinders yet?

Fluid could be condensation or moisture.

How does the exhaust smell? sweet?(coolant) or like burning oil?

More like oil... I am pretty sure that at this time it's oil - and not antifreeze.

This is the most probable scenario. Oil seeps, and when you have the car off it will spread everywhere if your turbo seals are shot. When you turn it on, it makes bubbles. Also means you've got a leak between your manifold and turbo (makes sense since you said there was smoke coming from the manifold).

Ok, so regardless of the issue, I still think I need new exhaust manifold gaskets...

I read on the forums somewhere that members rebuild turbos cheaper than these sites online that charge a small fortune... If anyone is, or knows, one of these people I would appreciate a PM.
