I'm in the middle of pulling the engine in my car, and I took off the maf to clean it/ inspect it and found something interesting. There is a small electrode looking device that hangs from the top of the maf, mine is broken in half. I'm assuming thats not normal. Is there a way to replace it? If so does anyone have the specs on what size it is etc, and how to pull apart the maf itself. I've attached a picture to clarify.
