So I opened my hood today and found this hose was broken. Idk specific parts but I have a pic at the bottom. There was suction coming from one end connected to the throttle body so im guessing its some kind of vacuum hose? I connected the 2 ends and taped them up with some electrical tape, should I be more concerned about this or am I good for now?

I have the top part of the hose like yours but mine does not come with the bottom part. The top part of the hose is not attached to anything and it has been like that for almost a year, i havent had any problems with it.

That hose goes to your EGR system. It's not absolutely critical, but you'll likely get a CEL and you won't pass any emissions testing. You should either replace the hose or properly splice it.

At the very least, cap the portion leading to the intake manifold... vacuum leaks are never good.
