Hello, i just have a few questions. I recently began having problems with the T25, the car will boost to about 8 psi and then fall on its face. Looking at the the turbo i notice that a few of the fins are chiped pretty good but it seems like there isn't much shaft play at all? I just purchased another T25 and it almost seems like there is more shaft play in this one than my old one. No fins are chipped though. Will a few chips make that much of a difference or does my problem lye elsewhere????

Sounds like your turbo ate something for lunch which in turn broke the fins. A turbo is just like a fan, a very powerful fan and if the blades are broken or chipped its effeciency goes downhill to be able to blow air. Get it

The chips will affect the efficiency of the turbo, but if it isnt badly out of balance it might not be your problem. It almost sounds like you have a boost leak. I'd definitly check that out first. You can search and find out how or go to www.vfaq.com and find out how to do it.
I would also suggest that you resell that T25 and look into getting a 14b turbo from a 1g dsm. They are MUCH better than the t25.

Good luck :thumb:
