Broken C Clip on wastegate Arm

Ok so was I was changing my wastegate and while trying to put the C Clip back on i managed to snap the rusty POS into 2 pieces.. well due to my bad luck i swear no auto parts store has C-clips only E-clips(no pun intended) so i got them instead.

Will these work ..

and just to be clear im talking about the the clip that holds the wastegate actuator arm onto the lever, that opens and closes the wastegate..

Is there a hole in the lever on wastegate, if so you can just use a cotter pin. You should put this ? In the ask Justin thread he will have a better answer for ya.

Any pics, i got mine welded back ,10 bucks at my local welder.

i was actually thinking about using hair pins they seem like they might slip onto the little dip

He's saying weld the arm on to lever permanently. Which is all good unless your wastegate acuator fails and you need to take it off.

even though that thing says c clip that is a dang e clip

but that is where mine needs to go.. so i guess if they use them i could try them as well?

YEAP it did!! after much pushing and forcing with some needle nose!

seems to hold even tighter
