I just got a brand new slowboy fmic a couple weeks ago. I was finally able to get it on the car and check for boost leaks. I don't have a turbo on my car right now (new one should be here the begining of this week) so needless to say I never even put boost to the intercooler. Of course the last place I looked and listened for was on the fmic it's self, but sure enough there was a leak on the left bottom corner. I checked the welds on the endtanks, and they were fine, the leak actually is comming from inside the core. This really sucks because my turbo is suppose to get here in the next two days and now I have to wait for the intercooler.:notgood: However I know wierd things do happen and if they take care of me I won't have any problems. I'll let everyone know how they handle the situation, I'll be calling first thing in the morning, but I'm sure they will give me a full exchange. At least that's what I would think. Like I said, I never even had a chance to run the intercooler. Anyone else have a situation like this where slowboy takes care of you?

Please get that back here ASAP. Mark the leak with a sharpie, so we can see it. Include a note in the box with all the information relating to the situation, and we'll get you out another as soon as physically possible.

Thanks Slowboy! Just so everyone knows, these guys are top notch when it comes to taking care of their custumers. Quick responses and great help. Thanks again Slowboy Racing.

Sent it off today this morning (Monday). Thanks again Slowboy!

Why didn't you just call them in the first place. I gotta say about the most annoying thing about this site is that the teenagers on it LOVE to air out their dirty laundry FIRST without calling the vendor. It kinda drags the site down. Shoulda just called the vendor and left the CRAP off the board.

thanks for just assuming hes a teenager, just because he did something "wrong" in your mind. That in itself is immature, older people can make mistakes too.

This happened to buddy of mine as well, but they took care of it. Must have been a bad batch?

What's annoying are people like you who don't have a clue what you are talkig about. I'm 27, how old are you cupcake? And just so you know, my buddy just got a brand new fmic from them yesterday. Because of my issues we pressure tested it and guess what? He had a leak too. This is a problem that I'm sure Slowboy is taking care of because I have several other friends who haven't had any problems with their SBR intercooler (the reason I ordered the kit in the first place). I put this post up simply to see 1. If anyone claimed help or warranty issues with slowboy, and 2. If anyone had the this problem as well. I posted this on Sunday a day which they are closed so I couldn't call them the time I posted. I did however get a hold of them Monday morning and they were more then helpful, which I stated praising how good their custumer service is. Did you see that part? This post was helpful because now people can know that slowboy takes care of their custumers. This isn't the first time I've bought through slowboy, and it won't be the last because they do have excellent products and excellent custumer service. So unless you have something relevent to say about the "topic" don't say anything hypocrite.

Greetings,
I've never had to send anything back to a vendor, then again I've never ordered from Slowboy. But if I had a problem I'd find out how it was going to be resolved before I blabbed on a bulletin board. That's just me.
Good day.
