Just got a set of rx7 16x8" wheels put on my 92 awd. My next step is a brake upgrade from the crappy single piston oem brakes. I realize that many brake upgrades require larger whees and mine are only 16", but does anyone have a suggestion for a good aftermarket setup that will fit these wheels. I am mostly a drag strip/street, but I like good handling/braking. Thanks for the help and input.

I almost used a set of RX7 wheels but I remember not wanting to use spacers. Now I can't remember if spacers were required on a 1g from the get go. You could probably get away with the 2-piston caliper upgrade from a 2g AWD/non-turbo Stealth/3000gt without changing the clearance.

I run rx7 wheels (8mm spacers all around) combined with 2g dual piston calipers/rotors. For me its not enough brake power, I wish there was a cheap option to adapt 3000gt vr-4 calipers/rotors into the picture or something else that would still allow bigger brakes inside 16" wheels while not costing an arm and a leg.
