Brakes: rear discs or SS brake lines?

A near miss caused by some coffin-dodger coming straight out of a blind side road got me thinking of this on the ride home. I currently have the stock calipers, and am using Project Mu B-Spec pads front and rear, with Project Mu SCR Pure Plus rotors on the front and stock rotors on the back.

Which would give me the most benefit to my braking: braided lines front and back, or a set of aftermarket slotted rotors on the back (would probably go for the Prokect Mu ones once again)? Thanks for any advice you guys can give me on this one.

Braided lines won't really show that much of a difference in stopping, your brakes will feel much better and you'll be far less likely to blow a line but your stopping distance wont change much. That said, back brakes wont change very much either as most of your stopping is on your front brakes, try switching to a big brake kit on the front if you really want some extra stopping power if your still going to go with one or the other go with rear rotors.

The harder you stop, the higher the % of weight is transfered to the front anyway.

I would say get the rotors first, so as to make everything match and help the back grip a bit more...maybe it'll even it out a little too.
