hello all, havent posted in awhile (luckily) but once again having problems.... my front d/s brake (95 tsi awd) makes a clicking noise and feeling when stoping only at low speeds, but it takes about 15 minutes of driving before it happens. it doesn't wabble or shake or pull to either side, they function nice until you hit about 15mph then it feels like it starts to skip. only the d/s front. when i first took it apart i noticed my rotors had chatter marks on them. it looks like from the pads, and the piston side of the rotor was wore a lot more then the other side, but i put it back to together and the problem went away for a week then came back. so i blead the brakes pretty good and got some air out of it, but no luck, same problem. i took it apart again and installed some drilled/slotted rotors with some ceramic pads and the problem went away for about 2 weeks then came back again. same problem, only the d/s front, takes about 15minutes of driving before they act up and only at low speeds.... so what should i do next, buy a new caliper? any other ideas?

Did you put new pads in as well with the rotor? Check to make sure that there isn't more air in there and if it's still going on I think it may be a caliper issue then.

Had the same Problem with my dads Truck.
Pads ate up the rotors hella bad.
It ended up being the Calipers.
They got stuck, and the pistons in the calipers just froze, so everywhere he drove, the front brakes were touching.
Try Replacing the Caliper.

well i replaced the caliper, problem went away for a few days but came back again... everytime i take the brake apart the problem goes away for a few days... thats what makes me think its gotta be the caliper but even with a new caliper the problem is still here.... has anybody else had a problem like this?

Do you have all the spring plates put in correctly and lubed up? I feel like I've had this problem on my 1g but it's been years since its happened so I can't quite remember.
