Alright guys i have a 96 Talon TSI AWD and was informed by a co worker that my drivers side brake lights is out. So i bought the new bulb and replaced it. However still doesnt work.
When the car is on and none of the lights are turned on (neither the daytime lights or headlights), when i push the brake pedal the drivers side brake light turns on however its much dimmer than the passenger side. However when the headlights are on and you push the brake pedal the drivers side brake light just turns off.
If you look at the actual bulb itself there are 2 things that can light up. One is supposed to light up to be the actual tail light. Then both are supposed to light up when you push the brake pedal (that's what I'm assuming).
Anyone know whats causing this issue? I checked the fuses and they are fine and i looked at the wiring to the lights and nothing seems out of place. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks guys!
